Who are you? Why are you doing this?
My name is Ryan, and I consider myself to be a very lucky guy living a fantastic life. So fortunate in fact, that I found myself looking for a way to give back. I tried donating money to various causes, but I felt I could do more. I thought if I could I inspire others to give back as well, I’d really be able to help out the community. While shopping for tshirts one day, the idea for this site came to me. Here’s hoping it’ll all work out!
Why is only $5 being donated?
I’d like to be as up front about the money as possible. Each shirt I use has a different base price, which is why shirts can vary in price. On average, it costs $8 for the tshirt and the printing, $4 goes to Goodstorm as payment for their services, $5 gets donated to the cause and $1 goes to me for the upkeep of the site.

I struggled for awhile as to whether or not to take any money from this venture. Obviously, I’d like to give as much as I can to the various charities I’m representing. But, I felt if I could take just a bit of the profits, I could do things like order screen printed shirts instead of digitally printed shirts (I’m a big fan of quality tshirts). I’d like to spend some of the profits on marketing to really spread the word around. And then take just enough to maintain the website (hosting fees and so forth). I promise if this site really takes off, I’ll start taking less for myself, and giving more to the cause!
Why don’t your shirt designs say anything about the cause they’re supporting?
All of the designs in a series do in fact allude to the cause they’re supporting. I won’t, however, make any designs that hit you over the head with their message. My goal is to create tshirts that people would buy and wear even if they weren’t supporting a deserving charity.
I’d like to donate to the cause, but I don’t want a shirt. Can I send you money?
I will always provide information on how to contact the charities I’ll be donating to. If you would like to donate money without buying a shirt, please contact the charity directly for instructions on how to do so.
When will your next series come out?
Right now, I’m not on a strict schedule. It could be anywhere from a month to a few months. If you’d like to be notified as to when the new shirts come out, sign up for the newsletter!

Are my purchases from your site tax deductible?
Right now, I don’t believe they are. I’m not setup as a nonprofit organization with the government, and I believe that’s required. I’ll look into what’s involved, talk to the folks at Goodstorm, and hopefully that’s something that can be worked out in the future!
